Is FastSpring viable from Vietnam?
Yes at the High band. Country coverage is broad (240+). The remaining work is confirming that your VN entity type can complete onboarding and that the payout method you need is actually available.
Can Vietnamese customers pay with VietQR?
Not yet. As of September 2026, VietQR is still listed as “coming soon” and is not live. Do not plan a local QR checkout on FastSpring until that changes.
Does FastSpring accept individuals?
Direct VN Individual is Conditional. The seller model supports individuals and sole proprietors, but you should verify the VN onboarding path rather than assuming a personal account will sail through.
Is FastSpring a Merchant of Record?
Yes. Tax/VAT is handled by the MoR, and subscription billing is supported.
